Max Cavallera
Biography
The mother is a pianist and the father a respected watercolor painter. Is it any wonder that artistic blood flows through Max's veins? At the age of seven, he began to take drums and piano lessons and in the few subsequent years was heavily influenced by music, such as Jean-Michelle Jarre, as well as various 80s synth-pop bands.
On this occasion, he also began early with vinyl to experiment, after which he met the rich facets of electronic music. However, only after a set of Sven Väth, which acted almost magically on him, it had happened with his now 15 years entirely around him.
After a few gigs in and around Munich, he learned to handle synthesizers and their peripherals. His first record (with Oliver Morgenroth) he produced at the age of 18 years. From then on, every step in his musical life seemed planned.
He completed his training in the music shop and sold professional software and hardware, after which he worked in the Parasound record store and was both an important part in the office, as well as resident DJ at Electric Delicate (Nachtwerk Club).
Meanwhile, the 39-year-old can look back on a large number of globally played gigs, releases on labels such as Harthouse, Karmarouge, Frisbee Tracks and, of course, his companion Broque.de, who has been faithful for more than 15 years.
Also several albums and a large number of remixes may not be missing in this package. The good man has already spent 25 years on his DJ counter.
At the moment, the Munich based artist regularly plays on the Munich cult club Palais and says:
„Ich spiele am liebsten min. 4 Stunden oder länger, um die Magie, Vielfalt und Kraft der elektronischen Musik gänzlich zu entfalten und wirken zu lassen.“
